Responsible storytelling

OzuReel welcomes different genres, cultures, and perspectives. Fictional conflict, criticism, and difficult topics are assessed in context, with regard to consent, rights, safety, and law. These guidelines cover films, descriptions, profiles, comments, and other contributions.

Prohibited content and conduct

• Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, trafficking, and sexualized depictions of minors.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, invasive filming, or threats to publish such material.
• Credible threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, stalking, or incitement to violence against protected groups.
• Terrorist recruitment, violent extremist promotion, or instructions facilitating serious crime or imminent harm.
• Fraud, phishing, malware, spam, deceptive impersonation, account farming, and artificial engagement.
• Copyright infringement, unauthorized music or likeness use, or unlawful disclosure of confidential or personal information.
• Pornography and content prohibited by applicable app-store distribution rules.

Accurate presentation and AI assistance

Provide accurate credits, descriptions, rights information, and content advisories. Disclose sponsorship and materially misleading synthetic elements where required. AI assistance does not excuse infringement or deceptive impersonation; a human account holder remains responsible for submissions.

Review and appeal

Depending on context and severity, a response may include a label, restricted access, removal, upload suspension, monetization restriction, or termination. Serious harm can require immediate action. Repeat violations or evasion may justify stronger restrictions.
